Texas High School Basketball - Flower Mound holds off Plano West

(February 3, 2012: Flower Mound, TX 75022) Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX), 70-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Flower Mound upgrades its record to 14-17 on the season. The Jaguars host Allen (Allen, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-13. Allen won 45-44 in their recent league bout against Hebron (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Wolves play the Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Plano West will attempt to upgrade on its 22-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-18 record after their 69-53 league loss to Plano East (Plano, TX).
