Pennsylvania High School Football - Montour trounces Blackhawk

(October 14, 2011: McKees Rocks, PA 15136) In Friday's league match, the host Montour Spartans football squad scored a big 42-9 victory over the Blackhawk Cougars.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Parkway match, on Friday, October 21. Montour will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 24-21 league win over New Castle (New Castle, PA).

The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL AAA Parkway match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Central Valley routed Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA), 34-23, in a league match.
