Illinois High School Basketball - Lane falls to Lincoln Park
(December 14, 2011: Chicago, IL 60614) The Lincoln Park Lions basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Lane Indians to 25 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlan for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Lincoln Park will confront a Falcons team coming off a 59-3 league win over Chicago Vocational (Chicago, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 8-2.
The Indians (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Steinmetz (Chicago, IL). The Silver Streaks enter the Chicago Public Red - North-West contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Steinmetz was defeated by Northside College Prep (Chicago, IL), 47-21, in a league contest.
