(February 3, 2012: Coquille, OR 97423) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) and the visiting Bandon Tigers (Bandon, OR), saw Coquille's basketball squad knock off Bandon by a score of 43-25.
With the victory, Coquille improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Gold Beach lost 46-39 in their recent non-league test against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
The Tigers now own a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glide for a 3A Sunset test on Tuesday, February 7. Bandon will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 76-41 non-league win over Reedsport (Reedsport, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 15-5.
