Texas High School Basketball - Carroll nips Canyon

(November 19, 2011: Canyon, TX 79015) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX) and the host Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX), saw Carroll's basketball squad hold off Canyon by a score of 52-49.

With the victory, Carroll improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. North Crowley lost 55-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX)

Next up, the Eagles battle the Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Canyon will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
