With the win, Rancho Buena Vista advances its record to 13-6 on the season. The Longhorns host La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to clash with the Mavericks in a Avocado - West test on Wednesday, January 18. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 14-3. La Costa Canyon won 59-45 in their recent non-league test against Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA)

The Marauders now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Mira Mesa will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 60-38 non-league loss to Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-11.
