New Jersey High School Basketball - Dayton Regional trounces Charter Academy
(February 9, 2006: Springfield, NJ 07081) The Dayton Regional Bulldogs basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Charter Academy to 58 in the Bulldogs league win on Thursday.
With the win, Dayton Regional improves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ) to meet the Crusaders in a Mountain Valley- Sky game on Friday, February 10. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 11-9. Bound Brook lost 73-33 in their recent league game against Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ)
The now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host South Amboy for a non-league game on Friday, February 10. Charter Academy will meet a Governors team coming off a 48-47 non-league win over Stevens (Edison, NJ). The Governors record now stands at 6-9.
