(September 2, 2011: Deep Run, NC 28525) In Friday's non-league match, the host South Lenoir Blue Devils football squad scored a good 45-14 victory over the Eastern Wayne Warriors.
In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 9. South Lenoir will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 43-7 non-league loss to Kinston (Kinston, NC).
With the loss, Eastern Wayne drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-1. Greene Central won 28-13 in their recent non-league test against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC)
