California High School Basketball - Sobrato ripped by Piedmont Hills

(February 2, 2012: San Jose, CA 95132) The Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Sobrato Bulldogs to 27 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Grove for a Mount Hamilton contest on Saturday, February 4. Piedmont Hills will meet a Eagles team coming off a 49-46 league loss to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 11-10.

The Bulldogs (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Saints enter the Mount Hamilton contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Santa Teresa was routed by Leigh (San Jose, CA), 73-57, in a league contest.
