Yates Lions (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the visiting
Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX),
88-51 in Wednesday's league test.
The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their test against
Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test,
Memorial was trounced by
Ozen (Beaumont, TX),
72-67, in a non-league test.
The Apollos now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Davis for a
4A Region III District 20 test on Wednesday, December 12.
Sharpstown will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a
83-34 non-league loss to
Walker (New Orleans, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-5.
