Ohio High School Basketball - Calvert tipped by Mohawk
(January 26, 2012: Tiffin, OH 44883) The Mohawk Warriors basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Calvert Senecas to 52 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arcadia for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Mohawk will confront a Redskins team coming off a 54-33 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 13-1.
The Senecas (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against New Riegel (New Riegel, OH). The Blue Jackets enter the Midland contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, New Riegel nudged Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
