(January 20, 2012: Oak Hill, WV 25901) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV) and the host Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV), saw Wyoming East's basketball squad hold off Oak Hill by a score of 59-55.
With the victory, Wyoming East improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Wilson (Beckley, WV) to clash with the Flying Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. The Flying Eagles go into the test with a record of 8-2. Wilson lost 84-73 in their recent league test against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV)
The Red Devils now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ballard Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Oak Hill will clash with a squad coming off a 64-50 non-league win over Champions Academy (Raven, VA). The record now stands at 11-4.
