With the victory, Gruver improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Booker (Booker, TX) to battle the Kiowas in a 1A-1 Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Kiowas come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Booker lost 48-43 in their recent league challenge against Sunray (Sunray, TX)
Next up, the Elks battle the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a 1A-1 Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Stratford will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Comanches come into the challenge with a 6-17 record after their 67-7 league loss to Canadian (Canadian, TX).
