(February 3, 2012: House Springs, MO 63051) In Friday's league outing, the Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) basketball squad beat the host Northwest Lions (House Springs, MO), by a count of 72-57.
The Lancers (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Fox (Arnold, MO). The Warriors go into the Suburban - West outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, Fox was topped by Oakville (St. Louis, MO), 67-42, in a league outing.
The Lions now hold a 4-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seckman for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 8. Northwest will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 67-32 league loss to Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-16.
