Pennsylvania High School Football - Conestoga defeats Penncrest

(October 31, 2008: Media, PA 19063) In Friday's league match, the visiting Conestoga Pioneers football squad scored a good 56-40 victory over the Penncrest Lions.

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Radnor Red Raiders (Radnor, PA) in a Central test, on Friday, November 7. Conestoga will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Red Raiders go into the test with a 1-9 record after their 35-6 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, PA).

With the loss, Penncrest moves to 8-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA) to confront the Fightin' Tigers in a Central test on Friday, November 7. The Fightin' Tigers go into the test with a record of 4-6. Marple Newtown won 38-6 in their recent league test against Harriton (Rosemont, PA)
