Arizona High School Basketball - Mesquite fells Mountain View
(February 19, 2010: Mesa, AZ 85213) Spectators at Friday's non-league test between the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) and the host Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ), witnessed Mesquite's basketball squad beat Mountain View by a margin of 51-41.
The Wildcats (25-4) will now prepare for their test against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Aztecs go into the non-league test with a 18-9 record. In their last test, Corona del Sol went down by Mountain View (Mesa, AZ), 68-51, in a non-league test.
The Toros now own a 23-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salpointe Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, February 25. Mountain View will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Tucson (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers record now stands at 19-10.
