New Jersey High School Basketball - North Brunswick holds off New Brunswick

(February 2, 2012: North Brunswick, NJ 08902) North Brunswick Raiders (North Brunswick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting New Brunswick Zebras (New Brunswick, NJ), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, North Brunswick upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Raiders host Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ) to play the Barrons in a Greater Middlesex - White bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Barrons go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Woodbridge won 62-55 in their recent non-league bout against Union City (Union City, NJ)

Next up, the Zebras play the Lincoln Lions (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. New Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
