(January 31, 2012: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124) The Mount Pleasant Tigers basketball team (Mt. Pleasant, NC), was overwhelmed 61-36 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC)

The Wonders (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls go into the 3A South Piedmont outing with a 13-8 record. In their last outing, Hickory Ridge smashed Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 49-27, in a league outing.

The Tigers now hold a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Concord for a 3A South Piedmont outing on Friday, February 3. Mount Pleasant will encounter a Spiders squad coming off a 62-51 non-league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 9-9.
