(December 10, 2011: Ben Wheeler, TX 75754) Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bullard Panthers (Bullard, TX), 50-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Martins Mill upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lindale (Lindale, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Lindale lost 48-33 in their recent non-league bout against Edgewood (Edgewood, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Winnsboro Raiders (Winnsboro, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Bullard will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 66-57 non-league win over Tyler (Tyler, TX).
