With the win, Simi Valley upgrades its record to 3-8 on the year. The Pioneers host Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA) to play the Panthers in a Marmonte bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Newbury Park won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Moorpark (Moorpark, CA)
