Ohio High School Basketball - North prevails Chardon

(January 7, 2012: Chardon, OH 44024) North Rangers (Eastlake, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH), 65-53 in a league bout.

With the win, North upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Rangers host Mayfield (Mayfield, OH) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Mayfield lost 63-55 in their recent league bout against Medina (Medina, OH)

Next up, the Hilltoppers encounter the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a Premier bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Chardon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 50-26 league loss to Geneva (Geneva, OH).
