Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) football edged the visiting
Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD),
32-27 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Chargers face the
La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a
Southern Maryland bout, on Friday, November 9.
Lackey will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their
17-12 league loss to
McDonough (Pomfret, MD).
The Wolverines (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against
Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars enter the
Southern Maryland bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout,
Stone was nudged by
North Point (Waldorf, MD),
12-7, in a league bout.
