New Jersey High School Basketball - Voorhees ripped by Montgomery

(December 22, 2011: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826) The Montgomery Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Voorhees Vikings to 22 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bridgewater-Raritan for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Montgomery will meet a Panthers team coming off a 54-39 league win over Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hopatcong trounced Dover (Dover, NJ), 57-46, in a non-league contest.
