(September 5, 2008: New Wilmington, PA 16142) In Friday's league match, the host Wilmington Area Greyhounds football squad scored a big 49-13 victory over the Greenville Trojans.

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Wilmington Area will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 35-20 non-league win over East (Erie, PA).
