Georgia High School Basketball - Kendrick thwarts Shaw

(February 18, 2010: Columbus, GA 31907) The Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) basketball felled the visiting Shaw Raiders (Columbus, GA), 68-49 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cherokees (12-4) will now prepare for their test against LaGrange (LaGrange, GA). The Grangers go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, LaGrange defeated Columbus (Columbus, GA), 70-56, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 15-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carver [George Washington] for a non-league test on Friday, February 19. Shaw will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 77-74 league loss to Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
