California High School Basketball - Pleasant Grove fells Jesuit

(February 18, 2009: Carmichael, CA 95608) Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA), 72-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Florin (Sacramento, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 20. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 13-13. Florin lost 69-33 in their recent non-league bout against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Marauders play the Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 20. Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 25-1 record after their 62-52 non-league win over Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).
