(August 22, 2008: Charlotte, NC 28262) Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the host Northside Christian Academy Knights (Charlotte, NC), 17-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bishop McGuinness improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Villains travel to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to confront the Sauras in a Northwest test on Friday, September 5. The Sauras go into the test with a record of 1-1. South Stokes lost 40-7 in their recent non-league test against McMichael (Mayodan, NC)

With the loss, Northside Christian Academy moves to 0-1 on the season. The Knights host Christ (Arden, NC) to confront the Greenies in a NCISAA Carolina Piedmont test on Friday, September 5. The Greenies go into the test with a record of 0-0.
