(February 6, 2009: San Jose, CA 95132) The Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Leland Chargers to 30 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 22-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a Mount Hamilton contest on Wednesday, February 11. Piedmont Hills will confront a Eagles team coming off a 53-37 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-13.

The Chargers (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Westmont (Campbell, CA). The Warriors enter the Mount Hamilton contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Westmont was nudged by Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA), 72-57, in a league contest.
