(January 7, 2012: Yankton, SD 57078) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles (Yankton, SD) and the visiting Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD), saw Yankton's basketball squad knock off Riggs by a score of 51-32.

With the victory, Yankton improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bucks/Gazelles travel to Brookings (Brookings, SD) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Brookings lost 24-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Mitchell (Mitchell, SD)

Next up, the Governors play the Watertown Arrows (Watertown, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Riggs will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
