(September 12, 2008: China Grove, NC 28023) In Friday's league match, the visiting Mooresville Blue Devils football squad scored a big 48-6 victory over the Carson Cougars.

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a North Piedmont match, on Friday, September 19. Mooresville will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 42-0 league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
