California High School Basketball - Desert Hot Springs falls to Twentynine Palms
(January 13, 2012: Twentynine Palms, CA 92277) The Twentynine Palms Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles to 42 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Twentynine Palms will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 60-42 league win over Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-6.
The Golden Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Knights enter the De Anza contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Shadow Hills lost by Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA), 78-74, in a league contest.
