Kentucky High School Basketball - Bryan Station can't hold off Lafayette

(February 7, 2012: Lexington, KY 40503) The Lafayette Generals basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Bryan Station Defenders to 67 in the Generals non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Lafayette upgrades its record to 11-15 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Trinity (Louisville, KY) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Shamrocks come into the bout with a record of 22-3.

Next up, the Defenders play the Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Bryan Station will attempt to upgrade on its 10-18 season record. The Commodores come into the bout with a 11-14 record after their 60-57 non-league loss to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY).
