Game Summary

Florida High School Basketball - Chiefland nipped by Interlachen

(November 25, 2008: Chiefland, FL 32626) The Interlachen Rams tipped the host Chiefland Indians basketball team by a final score of 68-64 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Matanzas (Palm Coast, FL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, November 28. Interlachen will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL).

The Indians now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taylor County for a non-league outing on Monday, December 1.

Scoring Summary

First Quarter Summary:
Chiefland led at the end of the first quarter 15-12. Led by Cantrell Richardson and Eugene Carter. Interlachen was led by Williams and Baker.

Second Quarter Summary:
Interlachen outscored Chiefland 13-9 to take a 1 point lead into the half. Interlachen spent much of the quarter at the foul line (10 attempts).

Third Quarter Summary:
Interlachen again won the quarter 12 to 10. Interlachen was led by Brown (4), and Chiefland was led by Richardson (5). Due to foul trouble, several Chiefland starters were unable to finish the quarter.

Fourth Quarter Summary:

Overtime Summary:
