Mississippi High School Basketball - Oxford can't hold off Clinton
(December 10, 2011: Clinton, MS 39056) The Clinton Arrows basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Oxford Chargers to 63 in the Arrows non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Arrows now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yazoo City for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Clinton will meet a Indians team coming off a 51-25 league win over Canton (Canton, MS). The Indians record now stands at 8-2.
The Chargers (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 3-4 record.
