Texas High School Basketball - St. John's can't hold off Episcopal

(January 25, 2008: Bellaire, TX 77401) The Episcopal Knights basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting St. John's Mavericks to 33 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Andrew's for a Southwest Prep - South contest on Friday, February 1.

The Mavericks (12-15) will now prepare for their contest against Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Concordia Lutheran nudged Awty International (Houston, TX), 48-38, in a league contest.
