(February 6, 2009: Fairfield, CA 94534) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) and the visiting Hogan Spartans (Vallejo, CA), saw Rodriguez's basketball squad knock off Hogan by a score of 67-55.

With the victory, Rodriguez improves its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Vallejo (Vallejo, CA) to meet the Apaches in a Solano County battle on Wednesday, February 11. The Apaches come into the battle with a record of 17-5. Vallejo won 92-61 in their recent league battle against Bethel (Vallejo, CA)

The Spartans (9-14) will now prepare for their battle against Benicia (Benicia, CA). The Panthers come into the Solano County battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Benicia beat Vanden (Fairfield, CA), 80-75, in a league battle.
