The Cavemen (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against North Medford (Medford, OR). The Black Tornado come into the 6A Southwest challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, North Medford was beaten by Roseburg (Roseburg, OR), 24-16, in a league challenge.

The Axemen now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Medford for a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, October 12. South Eugene will meet a Panthers team coming off a 34-13 league loss to Sheldon (Eugene, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
