(January 30, 2012: Moreno Valley, CA 92555) The Calvary Chapel Lions (Moreno Valley, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Cornerstone Christian Crusaders (Wildomar, CA), 50-44 in Monday's league test.

The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Marywood-Palm Valley (Rancho Mirage, CA). The Firebirds go into the Majestic test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Marywood-Palm Valley was tipped by Lake Arrowhead Christian (Lake Arrowhead, CA), 61-59, in a league test.

The Crusaders now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rancho Christian for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Cornerstone Christian will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 47-35 non-league win over Baptist Christian (Hemet, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-4.
