Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) football team knocked off the host
Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), by a score of
18-6.
The Panthers (8-0) will now prepare for their game against
Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers come into the
Southern Maryland game with a 2-6 record. In their last game,
Calvert toppled
Great Mills (Great Mills, MD),
41-13, in a league game.
The Cougars now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to
North Point for a
Southern Maryland game on Friday, November 2.
Stone will battle a Eagles team coming off a
42-0 non-league win over
Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
