(December 10, 2011: Silver City, NM 88061) The Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ), 35-28 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Fighting Colts (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Deming was tipped by Artesia (Artesia, NM), 59-35, in a non-league test.

The Flames now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thatcher for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Valley Lutheran will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 57-33 non-league win over Morenci (Morenci, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
