Minnesota High School Basketball - Hermantown crushes Duluth Central
(February 9, 2012: Duluth, MN 55811) Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Duluth Central Trojans (Duluth, MN), 63-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Hermantown upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Hawks host Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Chisago Lakes Area won 79-55 in their recent league challenge against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN)
Next up, the Trojans battle the Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN) in a Lake Superior challenge, on Friday, February 10. Duluth Central will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 2-19 record after their 74-27 non-league loss to Cook County (Grand Marais, MN).
