Washington, DC High School Basketball - Gonzaga overwhelms Goose Creek

(December 29, 2011: Washington, DC 20010) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) and the visiting Goose Creek Gators (Goose Creek, SC), saw Gonzaga's basketball squad trounce Goose Creek by a score of 73-45.

With the victory, Gonzaga improves its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.

Next, the Gators clash with the Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 3. Goose Creek will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record.
