Bardstown Tigers football team scored 39 points and held the host
Nelson County Cardinals to 14 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against
Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge,
Lincoln County was beaten by
Bell County (Pineville, KY),
31-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Marion County for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 31.
Nelson County will meet a Knights team coming off a
59-0 non-league win over
West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
