Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Crest nudges Logan
(February 3, 2012: Hyrum, UT 84319) Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Logan Grizzlies (Logan, UT), 60-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Mountain Crest upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Roy (Roy, UT) to encounter the Royals in a 4A Region 5 bout on Friday, February 10. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Roy lost 51-37 in their recent league bout against Sky View (Smithfield, UT)
Next up, the Grizzlies encounter the Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT) in a 4A Region 5 bout, on Friday, February 10. Logan will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Bees go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 59-46 league win over Bonneville (Washington Terrace, UT).
