(December 28, 2007: New Port Richey, FL 34653) Ridgewood Rams (New Port Richey, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Gainesville Hurricanes (Gainesville, FL), 70-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Rams travel to American Heritage (Plantation, FL) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 29. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 11-3. American Heritage won 63-51 in their recent non-league bout against Norland (Miami, FL)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Norland Vikings (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 29. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 63-51 non-league loss to American Heritage (Plantation, FL).
