(January 10, 2012: Del Valle, TX 78617) Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Del Valle Cardinals (Del Valle, TX), 54-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Anderson upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Trojans host Akins (Austin, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-17. Akins lost 58-38 in their recent league bout against Bowie (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals encounter the Austin Maroons (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Del Valle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record.
