(December 18, 2009: Wayland, NY 14572) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Livonia Bulldogs (Livonia, NY) and the host Wayland-Cohocton Eagles (Wayland, NY), saw Livonia's basketball squad knock off Wayland-Cohocton by a score of 53-45.
With the victory, Livonia improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Dansville (Dansville, NY) to battle the Mustangs in a Section 5 Livingston County I challenge on Wednesday, December 23. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Dansville won 60-53 in their recent league challenge against Haverling (Bath, NY)
Next up, the Eagles battle the Honeoye Falls-Lima Cougars (Honeoye Falls, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 22. Wayland-Cohocton will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 47-43 non-league loss to Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY).
