Oregon High School Basketball - Forest Grove can't hold off Centennial
(December 28, 2011: Gresham, OR 97030) The Centennial Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Forest Grove Vikings to 49 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sheldon for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Centennial will meet a Irish team coming off a 70-34 non-league win over Barlow (Gresham, OR). The Irish record now stands at 4-1.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tigard (Tigard, OR). The Tigers come into the 6A Pacific contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Tigard was nudged by Southridge (Beaverton, OR), 37-33, in a non-league contest.
