Arizona High School Basketball - Phoenix Day School for the Deaf falls to Westwind Prep Academy
(November 20, 2007: Phoenix, AZ 85021) The Westwind Prep Academy Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners to 48 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gila Bend for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 27. Westwind Prep Academy will meet a Gila Monsters team coming off a 45-20 non-league win over Salome (Salome, AZ). The Gila Monsters record now stands at 1-1.
The Roadrunners (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tempe Prep (Tempe, AZ). The Knights enter the 1A West contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Tempe Prep was defeated by Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ), 68-61, in a non-league contest.
