Oregon High School Basketball - O'Connor can't hold off Madras
(December 28, 2011: Madras, OR 97741) The Madras White Buffaloes basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting O'Connor Eagles to 64 in the White Buffaloes non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The White Buffaloes now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Summit for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 4. Madras will meet a Storm team coming off a 71-61 non-league loss to Issaquah (Issaquah, WA). The Storm record now stands at 5-5.
The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Centennial (Peoria, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Centennial nudged Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
